Joan Drew was one of the people I loved most in the world. She was my aunt and lifelong supporter...she was a beautiful person with a love of life, a seeker, a healer among many other things. I believe she was loved and cherished by all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.
When I think of Joan, I think of her smile, her laughter, her warmth, and her attentiveness. She was always in the moment and deeply interested in what people were saying--both their actual words and their inner meaning. She seemed to be constantly learning--a researcher to the bone. Through many years of seeking and hard work, she had found an inner peace that I envied.
I will miss her full-bodied laugh, her quick wit, her intelligent conversation, and the sparkle in her eyes that made her truly beautiful.
